Mirzapur : Season 2 (2020) | Mirzapur Season 2 release date
Following the storyline of Mirzapur torrent season 1, Munna (Divyandu Tripathi), who claimed himself the prince of Mirzapur had shown him laying at the hospital bed after the ugly massacre done by him in the wedding place at the end of season 1. He is keen to kill Guddu somehow.

But what’s the fun in describing a bloody land like Mirzapur season 2 without political vendettas and underworld dealings, and this formula has perfectly worked for the creators of the show.
‘Mirzapur season 2’ picks up from where the first one ended. Remember when the Munna Bhaiya rampaged to the wedding and did massacre there. he managed to kill Guddu’s Brother, his sister, his wife. But somehow he escaped with the help of Golu (his wife’s sister).

The Mirzapur 2 season of this franchise has had its fair share with its slow-paced execution that lots of conversations between characters that are worth forwarding.

Earlier it was his portrayal of Guruji which captivated the entire world and gave him an international podium.
No amount of words put in will ever be enough to describe his commitment and love for the roles that he portrayed.
He’s one such guy who can make the bad guy look equally lovable and respectable as the protagonist.
Guddu bhaiya aka the beefed-up version of Ali Fazal is thirsty for Munna’s blood and teams with Golu aka Shwetha Tripathi to get their much-awaited kill which is seen as an ode of respect to their fallen family members.
The endangered one or the one who claims himself to be immortal, the one and only Munna bhaiya aka Divyendu Sharma, the spoilt brat of Mirzapur who absolutely has no idea of the consequences of his actions.
New additions to this season are Isha Talwar as Madhuri Yadav who later gets married to Munna.
Apart from them, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Rasika Dugal have done justice to their roles as Satyanand Tripathi (Bauji) and Beena Tripathi, and the rest of the cast.
However, having struggling screen time still manages to make their on-screen presence feel worthy.
Faruqui portraying the role of Devdut ‘Dadda’ Tyagi, a man with a powerful status in Bihar, and also Vijay Varma who rose to fame post Gully boy starring as the Tyagi twins.
This season has had a better outcome when it comes to the portrayal of characters and showing their strengths and weaknesses.

Conclusion: Mirzapur Season 2
Ignoring subplot holes and character disappearances and few more instances especially few sequences with long dialogues and gaalis, this season has been rewarding and the pandemic situation has given this series an upper hand.
The urge for power and fame drives every character to become the uncrowned king of Mirzapur and with a parallel political storyline, it’s power-packed with some great performances.
Even though it couldn’t reach the benchmark set by season 1, it would be safe to say that this season is unique in its own way.
We are eagerly waiting for season 3 which would deal with the aftermath of season 2 and it’s expected that we would receive season 3 of Mirzapur torrent not before the fall of 2021 or even later.

MIRZAPUR SEASON 1 : STORYLINE | Plot
Akhandanand Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) is a local crime leader in Mirzapur city who has known as the king of Mirzapur having a lot of political influence, power, and support.
Kaleen Bhaiya runs an illegal business of production & supply of guns. he also runs its family business of Kaleen or carpets which is a cover-up business in the eyes of the market.
To expand its Illegal gun business, he hires two brothers Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) and Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Massey) who had been involved in a fight with his son Munna previously. Both the brothers took responsibility and expanded the gun business at a higher level than before.
The main problem comes when Munna (Divyendu Sharma) son of Kaleen Bhaiya, wanted its father’s gun business to run but it was given to Guddu and Bablu.
Munna wants its father’s position, power. He wants to become King of Mirzapur and always trying different efforts to prove to his father that he’s worthy of it.
But the story turned out to be more complicated when Munna loves a girl, Sweety Gupta (Shriya Pilgaonkar), which is turned out to be a lover of Guddu Pandit which led Munna to take revenge on guddu and bablu.
Things get more bad and harsh when Sweety and Guddu marry each other.

As living a larger-than-life attitude, Munna is fed up with taking orders from his father. Fed up with his father’s dominating attitude, Munna plans to kill his father and blames Bablu and Guddu for the killing plan.
He made Kaleen bhaiya believed that the brother’s duo tried to kill him which turns Kaleen bhaiya to turn against them and got the order to kill them.
When Munna, his wife sweety, Bablu, their sister Dimpy (Harshita Gaur), and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) were attending a marriage Party, Munna came up with lots of guns, & an army of goons and managed to kill Bablu but Guddu somehow managed to escape from the party with the help of Golu and Sweety.

We see in the Mirzapur crime web series, that king Kaleen bhaiya dominates Mirzapur city and defines the rule for the people here. Same as his son Munna owns this attitude.
After the death of Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and his wife Sweety, Guddu is looking to avenge his brother’s death from Munna. Golu which is Sweety’s sister also joins guddu to take revenge for her sister’s death.
